We caution that we will stumble on our journey, but we guarantee you safe passage ... back through time ... and then home again ..." - Bill Hendrick

COAL CAMPS, TIPPLES AND MINES
Coal Camps, Tipples and Mines
by Ed Wolfe
$40.00
Plus $3.00 SHIPPING CHARGE

Only the most gifted writers have the ability to create a vivid picture in a reader's mind through the use of words and phrases. The majority of people must depend on an actual photograph to depict an area or scene and can only add a few meager words to accompany it. It is perhaps from this weakness that the old saying "A picture is worth a thousand words." arose. Thus, through the use of numerous photographs depicting the Stonega Company's operations in Wise County, Ron has created a voluminous text. It is hoped that the spreading of photographs over two pages to create a panoramic view near the size of the original photograph will yield a picture worth abundantly more than a thousand words.

We are adding to these pages daily, and hope you will stop by again real soon!
