to the weekend; join us at the museum for a
"brown-bag lunch on the lawn and be entertained
by area musicians.
Bring your own lunch or order a $5.00 box lunch
from the museum. Menus vary week to week.
Please call for meal options. Orders must
be received by 10 AM each Friday. |
| Backyard
Art

This
program combines a scavenger hunt with an art
class to produce a one-of-a-kind creation.
Participants will receive a list of objects to
find in their back yard or other outdoor
locations. Then, they will bring their
natural treasures to the museum where out staff
will help them turn found objects into art.
Fee: $5.00 to
cover the cost of materials. For ages
6-12; limit of 20 participants.
Registration and payment deadline is June 2. |

campaign memorabilia from local candidates and
delegates. This

| YSC Day
Camp

Modeled after the CCC of the 1930's, the Youth
Service Corps offers high-school age children an
opportunity to learn about conservation
practices and the work of Virginia State Parks.
The museum's day camp program will give local
girls ages 14-17 the opportunity to assist with
archive projects. For more information,
